HORNE’s Board of Directors Announces New Director of Communication

HORNE’s Board of Directors recently appointed Meg Annison as the firm’s Director of Communications.

In this role, she leads the firm’s strategic communication efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment across all channels. She works with senior leaders to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies and oversee public relations, media relations, internal communications, and digital content creation.

Meg joins the firm after previously serving in the Communications Director roles for the Mississippi Lottery Corporation and for Speaker of the Mississippi House of Representatives Philip Gunn, respectively. In these roles, she helped navigate start-up environments, focusing on widespread communication efforts to build cohesiveness across platforms while maximizing effectiveness for the targeted audiences.

Meg earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The University of Mississippi.
